Using MECI and MECI-express
  =============================

Included is a compressed (tar/gzip) package which includes both the source code and
example files for MECI, MECI 2LC and MECI-express. The initial directory contain the essential files needed to run the program, and the "results" directory contain the results of running the program on the examples file.

For each light curve, MECI-express executes in a fraction of a second (not including the DEBiL pre-analysis). Both MECI and MECI 2LC, will take at least a few minutes to execute, depending on your computer and the number of light curve data points.



Please take note of the following:

1) MECI, MECI 2LC and MECI-express are still being developed. Bugs will be found and fixed, and features will be added. Make sure you have the latest version. We are open to critiques and feature requests, but we guarantee nothing.

2) You are welcome to use these programs in your research. Make sure to use the proper references
   (currently:  astro-ph/0510067, there will hopefully be journal publications soon).

3) If you'd like to change/improve the source code, make sure to notify me. If only to prevent
   duplication of work.
